Sheila’s “Good Ideas, Bad Ideas”
Good Idea: Performing in San Diego, Long Beach, Torrance and Malibu
Bad Idea: Giving up coffee at the beginning of a 5 week tour
Good Idea: Listening to The Beach Boys while running on Long Beach
Bad Idea: Having your parking meter expire while running on Long Beach
Good Idea: Amanda doing water colour painting in the passenger seat on the drive to Big Sur
Bad idea: Amanda leaving her water colour cup in the cup holder beside Sheila
Today marks the beginning of our 5 week tour through California, New Mexico, Alberta, British Columbia and Washington. Sheila and I spent our first San Diego morning pursuing our individual bliss.
-went for a run on the boardwalk
-spotted a man walking a pot bellied pig
-sat on Mission Beach drinking coffee
-painted the ocean
Something tells me this will be a trip to remember. Gotta go get ready for the show tonight.
Filmed in beautiful British Columbia, “Life on Earth” was shot and directed by Luke Divers

Special thanks to Kevin Fox, Chris Bilton and Douglas Cameron for making our cd-release concert at the Glenn Gould Studio such a special night. We are still coming down from cloud nine. See you soon Toronto!
